Rob Jay- Born Robert J. Mayberry IV, has been blazing through the underground circuit in Atlanta, Georgia. Dubbed by many as the fearless lyricist, he brings an insight and intelligence to the craft of hip hop that is a rarity in today’s music scene. Hailing from Houston, Texas, Rob Jay attended Florida A&M University and graduated with a degree in business administration before moving to Atlanta. While in school he found a passion for directing music videos which eventually lead to him starting a production company, Shyve Entertainment Group. He quickly grew his company and seemed poised to make a run at being one of the top music video directors in the game. Throughout his three year career he worked with clients including Lil Scrappy, Bonecrusher, and Vibe Magazine. Though he progressed as a director, artistically he began to feel unfulfilled. “It just seemed like all the videos that I was doing were the same, girls, cars and money. I felt like I wasn’t growing as an artist. The other thing that I hated was always having to wait on someone. I was always waiting on someone to get there record deal, or get there money right, or get there schedule together to do a video. I just got tired of waiting, that’s when I figured hey I can record my own music and shoot videos for those songs. At least I know that they will get done and they will be something original.” This led to him recording his first single “Party Girl” a warning to men and an intelligent ode to women who want to live the socialite lifestyle. What started out as a mission to record one song soon became the development of a conceptual album, Art Life.

“Forever” will appear on as part of a collection of tracks inspired by the film (due in theaters October 2)“It was done, it was just Drake and Kanye, and then they went back and got two more prolific talents and it just made it even crazier, ” Paul told MTV News late Tuesday. “They blessed Drake crazy.”
The song came together when Gee Roberson, an executive at Atlantic Records who also manages West and helps to oversee the careers of Drake and Wayne, visited LeBron during the playoffs in May.
“He came over and played this — it was me, LeBron and Maverick [Carter, James' manager],” said Paul, who will co-executive produce the project for James’ camp. “And he played the track, it was hot. It went right with the movie, it was like perfect for a moment that you want to be forever. And when he decided to put Wayne, Drake, Kanye and Eminem on it [together], it just makes is better. It’s one of those songs fans will really want to hear forever. It’s that type of feeling.”
Lil Wayne as long expressed a desire to rap alongside Eminem on a track — and now, he’s done it.

WOW!!! Words couldn't explain how fucking fresh it was this past Thurs (8/13/09).For those of you who didn't go it truly sucks you couldn't make it.There was magic in the air, It felt like a fireworks show just to paint a little picture of how it was in my head atleast.Garcia killed that microphone,dude did a freestyle at the end which was just bananas,not too many heads knew or understood him but the real heads knew he was kicking the truth.To top it off at the end of his freestyle he throws the mic on the ground,Which was like No one can kick the truth realer then me and i truly felt him on that being that everything we hear on the radio nowadays is straight garbage.Garcia deff came correct and fresh.Artoffical came on about 5 to 10 minutes after so it gave you a little time to recuperate from all the hand waving and head boppings back and forth that made you feel like you were about to break your shit.Artofficial held it down .They played alot of there newer songs and like two older ones.I hadn't seen them perform in a very long time but it felt great to see them do there thing.By the end of the night i was having an eargasm(yes that's a made up word) from all the freshness that went down.Props to Artofficial,Garcia and the cats who hold Shake down that made this happen.

Alert :Becareful what you order at Subway
Stay away from the Subway across from Fiu next to the Wendys.So I'm in line getting ready to get my sub like the other 3 people behind me.I'm there patiently waiting,just watching the lady in front of me getting her sub done.The lady in front of me knows very little Spanish and the lady making the sub knows very little English so I'm unfortunately the middle man.So the lady making the sub after a good two minutes of getting fed up from this English to Spanish translation says "le pongo un chile picante para que no traiga la mierda esa aqui mas?" (translation)=you want me to put some spicy peppers so she won't bring that bullshyt over here any more= .I'm just like no way she did not just say that!!.and from the back of the line you hear that one voice who you don't know who it is but know for sure who it could have been saying "dale un batido de jalapeno"(translation)=give her a jalapeno shake=.I couldn't believe people were that fucked up.Therefore I'm never eating there again.
